Condition
There is very minor scuffing to the edges of the canvas obviously occuring prior to it being placed in a box frame. The scuffing does not detract from the overall image and it is in very good condition.

Catalogue Note
This painting is sold with an accompanying Papunya Tula Artists certificate that reads in part: 'The site of Mitukatjirri lies south-east of Kintore on the border between Western Australia and the Northern Territory. It is associated with the secret-sacred Tingari cycle which relates to post-initiatory rituals. A large group of ancestral Tingari people made camp at this site. The roundel represents a cave and the central vertical lines indicate a ceremonial pole that is placed at the cave's entrance. The hills surrounding the cave are shown at the bottom of the painting'
