Literature
Leslie PiƱa, The Herman Miller Collection: The 1955/1956 Catalogue, reprinted, Atglen, PA, 1998, fig. B-1 (for a drawing of the model)
Condition
Overall in very good condition. With minor wear to the wooden case including very minor surface scratches, nicks and minor dings. There is a single scratch on the front of the second drawer from the top, measuring less than three inches which extends to the adjacent frame of the case. All the porcelains knobs are intact. The white painted metal stand with only minor scratches. A nice example of this form manufactured by Knoll's European subsidiaries, whose workmanship seen in this series bests the American production.
