Condition

Overall in very good original condition. The leather seat with a beautiful acquired patina. Slight darkening in color to the top of the seat back and the armrests. The leather with surface scratches, crazing to the upper seat back, rubbing, minute tears and areas of discoloration. The seat area with one darker circular discoloration measuring 1 ½ inch in diameter. Also with scattered dark liquid discoloration and the minor stain in the form of larger circle at the center, which is lighter in appearance. The edges with wear and rubbing to the surface as expected. The reverse of the seat back with scratches, minor stains and rubbing to the edges. With a drip mark extending from the top five inches and an area in the middle of the upper portion of the seat back with dark staining. There is a 2 inch scratch which is deeper than the other superficial scratches. This has not broken the surface of the leather, and appears stable. One of the armrest with a minor stable crack at the end, which appears to have existed for awhile. The other armrest with a 1 x 1/8 inch area of a paper with adhesive. The padding of the seat has become brittle in a few areas and overall the seat is slightly hard. The metal base with areas of surface scratches, nicks and minor areas of corrosion. Castors are all functioning. Surface dirt throughout the seat and frame.
