Condition

Overall in good condition consistent with age and use. The table throughout showing surface dirt, minor abraded areas, surface scratches and inconsistencies in color. The top of the table with more pronounced areas of staining. There are two darkened areas to the center to proper right of the top. The proper right area is a circular shaped stain, approximately 5 inches in diameter. The central stain is larger and would benefit from sensitive restoration. It appears to have stained the metal surface and has surrounding surface scratches. The entire area of damage extends about 12 inches in length. There is an appearance of a square shape at the base of the stain. There is also a less noticeable brown circular stain measuring 6 inches in diameter of the proper left portion of the top. The reverse of the table with white diagonal abrasions extending seven inches adjacent to the artist's plaque. The brass lower border with surface scratches and areas of minor oxidation. The brass border has pulled away from the steel table in area just before the proper right corner (extending 9 inches) and to a smaller area of the proper right side. This is visible in the catalogue illustration, as the area which was formerly affixed is lighter in color as a result of the adhesive. The proper right side of the body of the table with a white liquid residue.
