Condition

Overall in very good condition. The wooden seat is in excellent shape with only some minor surface scratches and nicks to edges. There is one small area of infill to the underside of the seat, which is not visible once the chair is righted. The metal frame with minor chips and accompanying losses, some of which reveal the metal underneath, concentrated to the top of the feet. With surface dirt and surface scratches. Possibly repainted and with hardware replaced. Please note there is a period leather seat cover. There is a tear at one of the seams extending approximately one inch to the interior flap of leather that goes over the top edge of the seat back. The tear is at the very end of the edge and therefore it does not affect the fit of the cover, although it is visible once placed on the chair. Original hardware and springs appear intact. Otherwise the cover shows normal wear and surface dirt.
