Condition

Overall in very good condition. The metal body of the lamp with minor surface scratches, surface dirt and some minor areas of discoloration. The base with similar scratches, minor discolorations and some areas of oxidation. The base has an inherent linear pattern to the metal, which is not easily visible in the catalogue illustration. The floor lamp is electrically stable and both the central light element as well as the upper lighting agent is functional. The top element is turned on and off by an adjacent white switch. All screws and hardware appear original.

Catalogue Note

Designed in 1963, the “Le Très Grand Signal” was a departure in both height and material.  The production of this brushed aluminum model was the only variant overseen by Mouille, unlike the other production models within the “Signal” series.
