Condition

These early examples of the model are in excellent condition with only minor scratches to the underbase as would be expected. Together with original cardboard box from Cappellini. Box with gentle wear throughout with scratches and some abraded areas. The proper left side of the top with damage from the removal of tape measuring approximately 3 x 1 inches. These are superb examples of this rare early model.

Catalogue Note

This series of re-worked found wine bottles was incorporated in the artist’s Some New Items for the Home installation at the DAAD Galerie in Berlin, Germany.  Originally created by hand for the exhibition, the current lot is an early example of the design produced by Capellini.
