- blue-painted metal with the original silk shades (not illustrated)
Provenance
DeLorenzo 1950, New York
Literature
Ensembles Mobiliers, Paris, 1953, pl. 31
Pierre-Emmanuel Martin-Vivier, Jean Royère, Paris, 2002, p. 223
Condition
Overall in good condition with only minor surface scratches, nicks, and chips to paint to the painted metal frame. The frame has possibly been re-painted at some point in its history, but we believe that blue is the original color. When purchased by the consignor, there was an additional layer of red paint which has been removed. The catalogue illustration shows later shades. The piece is being sold with a second set of silk shades, which are likely original to the piece.
