Condition

The Ivory Chair: Overall in good restored condition. The chair frame has been repainted at some point in its history. Therefore it shows only very gentle general wear to the frame including surfaces and nicks. The seat and backrest with minor surfaces scratches and nicks to the wood at the edges. The seat of the chair with a large circular discoloration measuring 7 ½ inches in diameter, which shows darkened in areas and has rubbed away portions of the finish, revealing the wood beneath. The Tan Chair: Overall in very good condition. The paint is probably original and has evidence of a green under paint below the beige. The beige paint with chips, losses and scratches. The lower portion of the legs almost completely lacking the paint revealing the metal beneath. The seat and seat back with scratches and chips to the veneer at the edges. With areas of infill to the edges, some which is beginning to fall out. The seat with expected signs with use including areas of rubbing, unevenness to the color and scattered areas of discoloration to the surface that appear to be remnants of stains.
