Condition

Overall in very good condition consistent with age. With minor occasional surface scratches and occasional rubbing to the patina, mainly to the base. Minor dust and surface dirt in the creases, the face with four narrow dark drip lines coming down from the top of the head, which appears to be wax flowing down. This appears to be on top of the patina and can be removed easily. This is visible in the catalogue illustration. Would benefit from a light and gentle professional cleaning, Strong presence a good and typical example of Sandoz's work. The foundry mark is inscribed Susse Freres Editeurs Paris.
