Description
- Paul Frankl
- Chaise Longue
- with firm's Skyscraper tag
- wood with fabric upholstery
Condition
Overall in good condition. The wooden frame has possibly had a later applied secondary finish. With scratches, nicks and dings as expected. The front panel of the foot of the daybed with some natural separation of the seams due to age and some cracks with minor separation. These are only visible on the front panel, and do not extend through the entire leg and the piece is stable. Similar separation to the joint and possibly cracking to the underside of the rounded area of the frame at the top of the backrest. This appears to have been stabilized and therefore presents no structural problems. The upholstery and piping has been replaced and is in excellent condition and probably duplicates the original pattern. Together with an oval shaped pillow.
