Condition

Overall in very good condition consistent with age. The lacquer is in very good condition with a few occasional minor age cracks. It is exquisitely painted. There is some looseness to the legs at the joints that would benefit from some adjustment. It appears that the gilt has been freshened up at some point. The fabric appears to be original; it is slightly dry and has an area approx. 2 in. long that has ripped and can easily be restored. Overall a wonderful and rare object.
