Description

- Room Divider from the International Paper Headquarters, New York
English oak burl
Condition
Overall in excellent original condition. The wood of this piece is less dry than several of the other pieces from the International Paper collection. Please note the dimensions in the catalogue as this is truly a monumental sculpture as well as a room divider. Overall shows minor wear and surface dirt throughout the piece. Several of the natural cracks and fissures to the board have possibly grown slightly over the years and in one case approximately half way down the sculpture on the right as seen in the catalogue illustration, there is one 6 inch long natural crack which is slightly unstable. Please note, this sculpture is not double-sided and there is a vertical brace half way up the sculpture.
