Condition
Overall in good original condition. The wood in certain areas with natural stress cracks due to aging. The most significant of these cracks to the proper left front of the chair. The rest of the natural wood surfaces with scratches, nicks and dents, some of which are inherent in the handcrafting of the chair. Scattered white paint residue. Some roughness to the wood surface throughout, as part of the original surface treatment of the piece. The painted areas with scratches and rubbing, some revealing wood underneath. The center portion of the seat with concentrated white paint residue. This unique and asymmetrical design is one of the few full scale furniture executions by the artist. A truly rare piece.
