Catalogue Note
Shiva Lingum Stones are so called because in the Hindu religion they symbolise the union between heaven and earth. These natural stones were collected from the Narmada river and it is believed that a meteorite coloured the jasper on its impact with the earth. This stone is of unusually large size.
