An attractive giltwood wall timepiece with associated movement late 18th century

10-inch silvered engraved dial signed John Taylor, London  with mock pendulum aperture and later hands, the replaced A-frame fusee movement with anchor escapement and later Brocot suspension, the richly gilded rococo case composed of shells, `C' scrolls and flowers and surmounted by an eagle with outstretched wings
