Description

Condition

Please note that this object is not made of cut-glass, but of rock crystal. The arms are those of van ANDRIGA of Friesland Ref: Armorial General by J.B.Rietstap, vol.I, page 49. One gem stone is missing on the base (visibile on catalogue illustration). Some wear to the faceted gemstones, and a few with small chips. The handle is loose, one small chip next to the screw. The screw is possibly later. Some wear and small chips to the enamel.. The fitted case with wear and some distress marks, consistent with age and use.
