Description
- 2171gr. width tray 42.5cm.
both raised on four moulded bracket feet, the plain centre with moulded rim, scrolling foliage and rocaille, the arms are those of VAN LEYDEN DE WESTBARENDRECHT of Holland, the smaller salver, Rutgerus Memelingh, The Hague, 1769, both fully marked at the reverse (2)
Condition
Both clearly marked. Engraved arms on the large tray slightly faded, the small one in good condition. Both with scratches of use, the large tray at one side slightly bent but not visible from above. The arms are those of VAN LEYDEN DE WESTBARENDRECHT, of Holland, created Counts of the Holy Roman Empire in 1732 by Emperor Charles VI, extinct in 1821.
