  • 660gr., height 39cm.
cartouche shape enclosing the Baptism of Christ, God the Father, the Holy Spirit and John the Baptist, surmounted by three putti carrying a globe with a snake, marked at the top

Condition

overall in good condition, marks clearly struck at the reverse, maker's mark missing. The flat chased scenes in good condition, mention that the tail of the serpent has broken off (see illustration in catalogue). At the right, near St. John's crosier a sign of a previous and old restoration, including a split of circa 1cm., is visible. Angels and globe detachable. Please note that the bowl is missing.
