one silver-gilt with four enamel images of Christ's path to the cross on the chased foot and four enamel images of Christ, Mary and two apostles on the cup; the other silver-gilt decorated with strapwork, the later wood-like stem with bird and man, three images in relief on base and three relief images on the cup (2)

The chalice illustrated on the right and dated 1733; marked at the bowl rim, in one of the medallions, and reverse of base rim. The bowl and openwork decoration to the bowl overall good, one small scroll above a medallion missing. The base rim with two repairs, the openwork decoration with repairs and partly loose from the stem in two places. Gilding overall good, but in some place slightly worn
