Description
The claw-set oval ruby within a surround of brilliant-cut diamonds, French maker's mark and assay marks, ring size 14 1/4 mm with sizing beads.
Condition
The ruby measuring approximately 15.45 x 14.33 x 6.29 mm, severely included with surface reaching inclusions and wear to the facet edges. Ruby less pink than illustrated.
Estimated diamond weight 2.00 carats for 14 stones.
French assay mark of dog's head for platinum, discoloration to the band.
Ring size 14 1/4mm, with heavy sizing beads. Band has been sized in the past, visible due to discoloration. Unclear maker's mark.
