Condition
Movement running no. 213571, cal. 48.1, case no. 213571, FI23883, 127-560A-1. Attractive piece for its nice dial with some traces of ageing, overall good, some loss of the coating.

Lange & Söhne was specialized in producing large, quality wristwatches for the Luftwaffe, using pocket watch movements with centre seconds. These watches were fitted with long leather straps, allowing them to be worn around the arm over the flying clothing. The large dial was designed to easily read the elapsing minutes and seconds.
