- A fine gold, enamel and diamond verge watch with chatelaine Sackville, circa 1785, No. 1486
- diameter 42mm.
18k, gilt and engraved full plate movement signed and numbered, fusee and chain, finely pierced and engraved balance cock, plain three arm balance, diamond endstone, bezels with white and light blue enamel decoration, white enamel dial, Arabic numerals, case back with translucent blue enamel on engine-turned background and diamond surrounded centre piece, hallmarked for London, with matching gilt, enamel and diamond chatelaine and fitted box
Condition
Movement running but would benefit from service, no.1486, dial with a few very minor scratches. Case with a few minor traces of use but generally attractive and in good condition in keeping with its age. No date letter, but based on visible hallmarks we assume date 1784/5. Chatelaine in similar condition.
