Description

The flexible choker designed as a braid of snake-link chains, weighing approximately 51 dwts., clasp engraved "Eleanor Lansing Thomas 1948", length 14 inches; the gold band ring decorated on the front with wavy bands of sapphire, ruby and emerald beads alternating with bands of small round diamonds weighing approximately .30 carat, size 7.  Together with two gold rings, one set with an emerald-cut synthetic color change sapphire, the other a cushion-cut quartz.

Condition

NECKLACE: 5/8 inch wide, some discoloration to the clasp ends, but in good condition overall. Clasp tongue stamped Brand - Chatillon. COLORED STONE RING: Scratching to the gold and numerous chips and abrasions to the stone beads, but in good condition overall. Set with round diamonds approximately F-G color and VVS-VS clarity. 3/4 inch wide. PURPLE STONE RING: (not pictured in catalogue) set with an emerald-cut synthetic color-change sapphire stone which is approximately 30.00 cts. The stone changes from a medium violet blue to a bright pinkish purple in different lights. Set into a pinkish gold split shank with intricate gallery. Marked with Egyptian hallmarks for 18K gold. Size 6. CLEAR STONE RING: (not pictured in catalogue) Set with a cushion-cut rock crystal quartz stone approximately 9.00 cts, and eye clean clarity. Set in a pinkish gold mounting with ex-Soviet Union hallmarks for 21K gold. Size 7 1/2.
