Description
Designed as a spray of flowers and leaves set with old-mine and rose-cut diamonds, supporting a flexible garland flanked by a pair of pendant fringes set with additional old-mine and rose-cut diamonds, mounted in silver and gold, French assay marks, fringes and garland detachable.
Condition
Overall good condition. There are 13 old-mine diamonds in the brooch totaling approximately 1.50 carats and numerous additional smaller diamonds. French assay marks appear on the pin and the pin clasp. There is a small area of solder on reverse of the top floral cluster. The central swag and the flanking fringes are detachable. The diamonds are primarily decorative, approximately I-K color and SI-I clarity.
