Description
Set at the front with an open work centre piece of foliate scroll design set with cushion-shaped, circular- and rose-cut diamonds, suspending a pear-shaped pearl weighing 10.15 carats, on a necklace of knife-edge linking spaced by rose-cut diamonds alternating with cushion-shaped stones, length approximately 385mm, one small diamond deficient, one diamond later replacement, French assay marks.
Condition
Stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold and import marks. Set in silver and gold. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 5.5 - 6.5 carats, mixed colours and clarities, please note as per cataloguing the uppermost stone is a later replacement. Well articulated necklace, tarnish consistent with age, each necklace fitting can be removed. Pearl weighing 10.15 carats, is a semi-baroque drop shape, silver grey bodycolour with rosé overtones and orient, medium lustre, a slightly darker brownish tone toward the top, drop detachable, measuring approximately 15.4mm. Detachable brooch fitting deficient. Indentations and scratches to piece consistent with age and wear. In very good condition.
