Description
Set to the centre with a heart-shaped yellow sapphire within surrounds of step-cut emeralds and diamonds, flanked by brilliant-cut diamonds, on a wide curb link chain, length approximately 380mm, French assay marks.
Condition
Stamped 750 and PT 900 for 18 carat gold and platinum. French assay marks for platinum and 18 carat gold. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 3.5 - 4.0 carats, the principal stones spread at approximately 1.25 carats each, estimated colour H-I, estimated clarity SI and I. Sapphire a vivid golden yellow hue with strong saturation of colour face up, very small nicks to facet edges. Emeralds a moderately strong green hue with medium colour saturation, well matched, typical inclusions visible with a 10x lens. Scratches and indentations to pendant and chain consistent with wear. Unusual clasp, the reverse of the heart-shaped pendant opens in two hinged halves to reveal L-shaped channels to slot the clasp fittings into. Weight approximately 101.2 grams. In very good condition.
