Description
The very fine mesh to a simple frame, with a central opening clasp embellished with two synthetic sapphire cabochons, to a curb link chain, suspending a mirrored compact with central engraved plaid decoration with a stylised foliage motif border, and an annular monogram 'M C', measurements approximately 180mm x 160mm, French assay marks, together with a circular mesh coin purse, the scalloped frame engraved with foliate and scroll motifs, inscribed 'Georgette' to the interior, measurements approximately 50mm x 75mm.
Condition
Weight of bag approx 355 grams weight of coin purse approx 28 grams. Mirror to compact degraded, mesh slightly adrift near one hinge, otherwise in good condition. Coin purse with small dent to frame.
