Description
The necklace designed as an articulated ribbon dressing the neck, embellished with geometric and floral motifs set with step-cut, pear- and marquise-shaped diamonds and rubies, further accented with brilliant-cut stones, accompanied by a pair of earrings en suite, necklace length approximately 410mm, numbered, British import marks, earrings with collapsible clip and post fittings, numbered.
Condition
Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold to tongue of clasp on necklace and to each earring. Weights stamped to reverse of necklace near to clasp, diamonds 65.42 carats, bright, lively stones. Rubies 56.05 carats, a medium slightly purplish red colour with slightly brownish saturation, typical inclusions visible with a 10x lens. Well articulated necklace, sits very well when worn. One ear clip not very strong could benefit from attention by a professional jeweller. Necklace weighs approximately 197.0 grams. Demi-parure in excellent condition.
