Description

Designed as a blackamoor, the head of carved amber, the turban and tunic set with brilliant-cut diamonds and pear-shaped emeralds, signed Nardi.

Condition

Estimated total diamond weight approximately 4.50 - 5.50 carats, estimated clarity VS-SI, please note it is not possible to accurately give colour grades due to the yellow metal setting. Emeralds a medium green hue, a few stones with a little lower colour saturation than the majority, typical inclusions visible to the naked eye. Highly articulated fringe, and the Blackamoor wears articulated diamond set ear pendants. Very detailed tool work to reverse of brooch and pierced scrolling to top of turban. Sliding hook catch to reverse to secure pin fitting, one pin a little bent. In very good condition.
