Description
The articulated bangle centring on two tigers' heads holding a brilliant-cut diamond annular link in their mouths, their heads accented with similarly-cut stones, their eyes with collet-set pear-shaped rubies, their textured bodies with black enamel, circumference approximately 170mm, signed Wempe, Austrian assay marks.
Condition
Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold to inside base of bangle, French assay marks for platinum to tongue of clasp. Accompanied by a certificate from Wempe, no. 6354, stating that the 150 diamonds present in the jewel weigh 3.76 carats, are F/G colour and VVS clarity; and that the 4 rubies weigh 1.00 carat in total. Ruby eyes slightly purplish red, well matched, typical inclusions and small nicks visible with magnification. Enamel in very good condition. Numbered 6354 to bottom inside of bangle. Hinged safety catch to one side of clasp. In excellent condition.
