Description

Designed as a flower head set to the centre with an oval sapphire within a surround of pear-shaped rose-cut diamonds, size K ½.

Condition

Accompanied by a certificate from SSEF, Swiss Gemmological Institute, no. 47685, stating that the sapphire weighing 3.20 carats is natural, presents no evidence of heat treatment and originates from Burma. Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 2.0 - 3.0 carats, estimated colour H-J, estimated clarity SI-I, please note as the stones are rose-cut this is a very approximate estimate. The sapphire weighing 3.20 carats is a dark blue with strong saturation of colour, typical inclusions visible with the naked eye, small nicks to girdle edges and some facet edges only visible with magnification, one small chip to table facet edge. Minor scratching and discolouration to band. In very good condition.
