Description
The cut-cornered rectangular frame centring on a glazed oval portrait compartment dressed by a border of circular-cut diamonds, within surrounds of blue guilloché enamel and half-pearls, to an open work foliate easel support and suspension loop to the reverse, measurements approximately 85mm x 68mm x 6mm, signed Boucheron Paris Londres, French assay marks and maker's marks, later fitted case by Wilson & Gill, 139-141 Regent Street, London, with replacement glass and fittings.
Condition
Estimated total diamond weight approximately 6.0 - 7.0 carats, of mixed colours and clarities. Pearls a creamy bodycolour some a light grey, well matched in size, some with rosé overtones, medium lustre. Enamel in excellent condition. Some very fine scratches and marks to oval glass. Stands very well, good strong hinge. Light scratches to the reverse of the frame. In excellent condition.
