Description

Each surmount centring on a foil-back rose-cut diamond within surrounds of similarly-cut stones, suspending a pear-shaped diamond-set swing centre dressed by two concentric frames embellished with rose-cut stones, assay marks, drops and frames detachable, later fitted case by Holmes, 29, Old Bond street, London, W.1.

Condition

Please note it is very difficult to give accurate estimates of weights, colours and clarities of the principal diamonds as they are rose-cut stones in foiled closed-back settings. The pear-shaped drops measuring approximately 12.2mm x 7.1mm, there is a noticeable cavity on the right hand side and some small crystal inclusions and a feather to the lower edge visible only with magnification, and 13.25mm x 7.9mm, two naturals and several feathers along edges visible only with magnification. The circular rose-cut stones measuring approximately 8.2mm x 7.5mm, and 8.3mm x 7.7mm, bright stones throughout, the foil in good to medium condition. Each section is removable, the circular rose-cut stones can be worn alone without the additional rose-cut set concentric frames. Some minor discolouration to the metal on the reverse not visible when worn. Some scratching to the reverse, consistent with age and use. One earring hinged fitting not aligned, could benefit from attention by a jeweller. Scratched inventory numbers to each earring fitting. In very good condition. Total diamond weight approximately 7.0 - 9.0 carats.
