TWO SAPPHIRE AND TWO DIAMOND BANGLES

Each set around the wrist with sapphires and diamonds respectively: the first set throughout with calibré-cut sapphires, length approximately 210mm, signed Cartier Paris and numbered, French assay marks and maker's marks, the other millegrain-set with similarly-cut stones of tapered design, length approximately 195mm, another set with circular-cut diamonds to a scroll engraved gallery, length approximately 200mm, early 20^{th century,} signed Van Cleef  & Arpels Paris and numbered, the other similarly-set, length approximately 200mm, early 20^{th century, .}

Signed sapphire bangle: stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold (yellow). Sapphires a medium blue with moderately strong saturation of colour, well matched in size, some slightly paler than others, typical inclusions visible with a 10x lensa couple with small chips. Some with small spaces between them in the setting. Signed Cartier Paris and numbered 2150. Light scratching consistent with wear. Second sapphire bangle: Sapphires a medium blue with vivid colour saturation, well matched in size and colour, typical inclusions visible with magnification, some small nicks and chips to a few stones. Signed diamond bangle: Estimated total diamond weight approximately 6.5 - 8.0 carats, estimated colour G-I, estimated clarity VS-SI. Signed Van Cleef - Arpels Paris in amongst ornate scrolled gallery and opposite numbered 19808. Scratched and with indentations consistent with age and wear. Second diamond bangle: Estimated total diamond weight approximately 5.0 - 6.0 carats, estimated colour H-K, estimated clarity SI-I, a few stones chipped or with cavities, one with a large natural. With light scratching consistent with wear, very simple engraved gallery. Collection of bangles in very good condition.
