Description

Designed as an owl perched on a branch, the eyes embellished with circular-cut sapphires, the ears, body, wing and tail set with brilliant cut diamonds of brown, yellow and near-colourless tints, signed Cartier New York.

Condition

Estimated total diamond weight approximately 5.0 - 6.0 carats, diamonds of brown, yellow and near-colourless tints, mixed clarities. Sapphires a dark blue hue, strong saturation of colour, typical inclusions visible with magnification, well matched in size and colour. Signed Cartier NY along the left hand side of the tail. Pin a little bent. Light tarnishing to reverse of mount, with scratches and indentations consistent with age and wear. In very good condition.
