Description
Comprising: a necklace collet-set with an oval sapphire to the centre between brilliant-cut diamond stirrup links, to a flattened curb link chain, length approximately 410mm, signed Cartier London, and numbered, with British hallmarks for London, 1987, case by Cartier, London, together with a bracelet of similar design, length approximately 175mm, signed Cartier and numbered, case by Cartier, Paris.
Condition
Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold to each piece. Necklace: Estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.32 carats, bright, lively stones. Sapphire a very strong blue with vivid saturation of colour, colour zoning visible with magnification, measuring approximately 8.4mm x 6.1mm x 4.0mm, estimated to weigh approximately 2.21 carats. Signed Cartier London and numbered 29241to underside of pendant. Bracelet: Estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.64 carats, bright, lively stones. Sapphires a medium blue with moderately strong saturation of colour, typical inclusions visible with a 10x lens, one with a chip to the surface, well matched measuring approximately 6.0mm x 4.6mm x 3.3mm and 5.8mm x 4.6mm x 3.1mm, estimated to weigh approximately 0.98 and 0.89 carats respectively. Signed Cartier and numbered 601350 to underside of clasp. Each piece with a strong clasp and safety catch. Demi-parure estimated to weigh approximately 71.5 grams. In very good condition.
