Description
The rectangular black suede exterior with a cut-cornered edge, centring on a circular sliding gold clasp accented with a cabochon onyx, opening to reveal a leather interior separated into two main compartments, the central one with four smaller pockets, measurements approximately: length 248mm, width 169mm, depth from 13mm to 60mm, signed Cartier Ltd London, British hallmarks for London, 1933, cased by Cartier London.
Condition
Stamped 9 and 375 for 9 carat gold. Rotating clasp a little scratched consistent with age and wear. Carved onyx a little abraded to the surface. Corners of suede bag and loop where clasp slots into a little discoloured and worn consistent with age and use. Please note there is a 1983 £1.00 coin in the back section of the handbag. Case with small signs of wear to exterior, silk interior in very good condition, two safety catches to case. In excellent condition.
