Description

Designed as a graduated row of gold foil-back oval topaz mounted in cut-down collets, length approximately 390mm.

Condition

Gently graduating oval topaz stones a light golden yellow hue, measuring from approximately 8mm x 5.3mm to 13.1mm x 8.3mm. Some topaz with typical inclusions visible with magnification, some with small chips to facet edges. Foil in good condition. Some small indentations and light scratching to the reverse of the mounts, a little damage to a few of the cut-down collets, consistent with age and use. 6 links with old repairs, slight traces of solder visible only to reverse. Several links have opened a little, could benefit from attention by a jeweller. Secure clasp, with a safety chain. In very good condition.
