Description

One designed as two rows of cultured pearls to a navette-shaped clasp embellished with circular- and rose-cut diamonds, length approximately 453mm, clasp early 20th century; the other designed as a single graduated row of cultured pearls to a circular open work clasp millegrain-set with circular-cut diamonds, length approximately 550mm, clasp early 20th century.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              

Condition

Two row necklace: Estimated total diamond weight in clasp approximately 0.65 carats, of mixed colours and clarities. Cultured pearls graduated, measuring from approximately 5.7mm to 9.3mm, well matched in shape, cream bodycolour, several with rosé overtones, medium to high lustre, some surface blemishes to a few cultured pearls. Single row: Estimated total diamond weight approximately 1.0 carat, bright, lively stones. Cultured pearls graduated, measuring from approximately 5.8mm to 8.9mm, well matched in shape on the whole a few slightly off round, several with rosé overtones, medium lustre, some surface blemishes to a few cultured pearls. Silk on each necklace a little discoloured, could benefit from being restrung by a professional jeweller. In very good condition.
