TWO CULTURED PEARL AND DIAMOND BROOCHES AND RING, 1970s

The principal brooch designed as a cluster of brilliant-cut and marquise-shaped diamonds embellished by a pair of cultured pearls, the second brooch of spray design set throughout with baguette diamonds highlighted by a single cultured pearl, together with a ring set to the centre with a baroque cultured pearl accented with brilliant-cut stones, size N, part illustrated.

Larger brooch: Estimated total diamond weight approximately 4.0 - 5.0 carats, estimated colour H-K, estimated clarity VS-I. Cultured pearls measuring approximately 8.5mm and 8.51mm respectively, well matched in size, one slightly off round in shape, with rosé overtones and medium to high lustre, some cultivation marks noticeable on closer inspection, each drilled right through with a pin. Safety catch to pin fitting. Smaller brooch: Estimated total diamond weight approximately 1.30 - 1.90 carats, estimated colour H-I, estimated clarity VS. Single cultured pearl measuring approximately 8.1mm, with rosé overtones, medium lustre, some cultivation marks near to the base. Traces of glue to reverse of cultured pearl. Pin fitting to reverse a little bent, rotating safety catch. Ring: Estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.60 - 0.80 carats, bright, lively stones. Baroque cultured pearl, low to medium lustre, small scratches to surface. Mount a little discoloured. All pieces in overall very good condition.
