Description

The oval open work plaque embellished with channel-set lines of calibré-cut sapphires, to a border and central motif millegrain-set with circular-cut diamonds, fitted case by London & Ryder, 17, New Bond Street, London W.

Condition

Estimated total diamond weight approximately 3.50 - 4.50 carats, bright lively stones, the central principal diamond measuring approximately 5.8 mm (average diameter) x 4.0 mm, estimated to weigh approximately 0.95 carats, estimated colour H/I, estimated clarity VS, the other two stones spread at approximately 0.30 carats and 0.33 carats respectively, estimated colour I, estimated clarity I2 and SI1. Sapphires a vibrant blue, with typical inclusions visible with a 10x lens. Some small areas of damage to the framework on reverse securing the sapphires, only visible with magnification. Revolving safety catch to pin. In very good condition.
