Description
Comprising; a brooch centring on a plaque applied with an enamel scene depicting a landscape of Montreux et Chillon, within a frame designed as foliate scrolls, accompanied by a pair of pendent earrings, each surmount set with an oval plaque depicting a local subject, the navette-shaped pendants showing a different waterfall, set within foliate scroll frames, cased.
Condition
Enamel in excellent condition, on small chip to left hand side of brooch. Inscribed to reverse of brooch with Montreux et Chillon, the place depicted in the enamel view. Slight tarnish visible to front right hand side of brooch and to one ear pendant, could benefit from a careful professional clean. Original earring fittings. Original fitted case with some scratches and losses of small areas of leather to top, rubbed edges and underside, two catches. Demi-parure in excellent condition.
