Description

  • h.74cm., diam.125cm.
rosewood and brass inlaid and with circular tilt-top

Condition

Good colour. This table has been re-polished/restored at some stage and as a result the surface finish is distressed with a type of craquelure. It will require repolishing. Generally the colour is rich and superb it is just the surface polish/varnish that is distressed. The brass inlay is tarnished but very good with none of the usual lifting one see's on similar pieces. There are separations to the veneers on the base and some losses to veneers on the underside of the top. The base is discoloured in places. This is a solid and very decorative table.
