Description

  • h.241cm., w.102cm., d.38cm.
ebonised and gilt bronze

Condition

Of pleasing proportions and in relatively good condition. There are surface scratches to the ebonised surfaces. Notably to the flat surface of the lower section. There are also old, marks and chips - these are consistent with the age of the piece. The mounts are tarnished but present and correct - although the two Corinthian capitals to each side pilaster need turning around as they are upside down. The interior is in good order. A useful and decorative piece.
