Description

  • h.75cm.; l.270cm.; w.129cm.
in Louis XVI style on turned tapering fluted legs, including three leaves

Condition

Superb colour. The walnut is in very good order although there are natural age cracks which follow grain contours - nothing alarming. The metal mounts on the table are very nice although tarnished in places. The frieze is scuffed in places. Very good order. The later leaves, which are probably of recent manufacture have been beautifully made. The details are carved gilt-wood to simulate the metal mounts on the actual table.
