Description

wanut, with sphinx carved arm supports

Condition

A theatrical lot with a lot of charm. The rear right leg is very loose and would benefit from workshop attention to secure it. The upholstery is fairly recent, there are marks in places, notably on the arms, it would benefit from a deep clean. The unusual carving is well executed and in good condition, it may well have been recently cleaned. There is an old age crack to the scrolled back of one sphinx. There are minor chips and scratches entirely consistent with the age of this very decorative chair. The casters are good.
