Description
- franz bergman
- Icarus
- h.49cm.
stamped with the Bergman monogram, bronze, mid brown patina, on a rocky base
Condition
The bronze and stone are an attractive combination. The gilt/brown-coloured surface is tired but in original condition. There is some surface rubbing and scratching - this is evident on his right leg. The wings maybe slightly bent. The Bergman impressed is visible on the reverse of the wings. The stone base could do with a clean. In generally very good untouched condition, an unusual and very decorative piece.
