Description

  • h. of tallest 151cm.
black lacquered and gilt decorated in the Chinese taste, together with a similarly decorated reading lamp.

Condition

The combined reading light and table is probably the oldest of the three items. It features the kind of marks and scratches that one would expect. (particularly at the base). The shade fittings are not great and could do with fixing. The gilt-metal components are tarnished but attractive. The top of the table area appears to be signed illegibly possibly 'Dreyfois'. The two standard lamps are in very good condition and probably of recent manufacture. There are some marks on these. A very decorative group. These items will require re-wiring.
