- 66cm. high, 46cm. wide; 2ft.2in., 1ft.6in.
of arched format, finely worked in polychrome silks and gilt and silver metal threads, in various stitches, on an embroidered cream ground, with a female allegorical figure holding a fruit filled cornucopiae, supported by a bound trunk of a tree, with a dog and strewn flowers at her feet, edged in gilt braid, within a later walnut and glazed frame

Condition
Embroidery is finely worked. The light coloured embroidered long stitch background is discoloured and worn in areas. The green foreground is discoloured. The face is finely worked in light coloured threads and in good overall condition. Gilt and silver threads evident and silver not tarnished, so adds to sparkle and appealing overall appearance. Decorative piece, in later frame which is in good condition.
